Piñata de la Muerte - 3D Game


'Piñata de la Muerte' is a VR game for the Oculus Quest. It was made by a team of 4 students with a prompt to create a culturally inspired, arcade-like VR game.

My Role:

•   3D Modeling | Modeled cactus for fence tool and hands 

•   Texturing and Shading | Textured cactus and created procedural shader for ground

•   Mechanics | Responsible for piñata, candy, and piñata bat physics, bat switching between hands, as well as helped polish various other mechanics

•   Tool Development | Created UE5 tool to set dress cactus fence based on user-drawn spline curve, created Houdini tool to procedurally create tissue paper mesh surrounding piñata models
